Biography: Ahmadreza completed his BSc in Biomedical Engineering, and his MSc in Electrical Engineering. He is a PhD student in the Department of Medical Biophysics at the University of Toronto. Ahmadreza’s research focuses on developing computational tools for quantitative investigation of structural and functional neuronal connectivity in neurodegenerative disease. His research interests include the development and application of Machine Learning and Deep Learning, whole-brain light-sheet microscopy, and electrophysiological recordings for mapping structural and functional connectivity over the course of neurodegeneration in transgenic models of Alzheimer’s Disease.
