The recently published Boston Criteria 2.0 provides new pathologically validated diagnostic criteria for cerebral amyloid angiopathy, a common age-related cerebral small vessel disease that causes hemorrhagic stroke and vascular cognitive impairment. Boston criteria 2.0 includes new white matter features: centrum semiovale perivascular spaces and the white matter hyperintensity multispot pattern. In this interactive online workshop, Dr. Eric Smith (University of Calgary) will guide trainees through application of Boston Criteria 2.0 through multiple case examples with quizzes. Attendees will be assigned pre-meeting preparation of reading the new criteria, with a knowledge quiz at the start and end of the workshop.
